July 12-14 & 18-21 | 7:30

FREE

Pack your picnic and blanket and join us on the lawn! Summer in Jackson wouldn’t be complete without a memorable night of free, outdoor Thin Air Shakespeare.

Conflict is brewing in the streets of Verona as Thin Air Shakespeare returns to the Center Amphitheater with a new generation of feuding families in Romeo & Juliet, directed by Edgar Landa. In this immortal tale of lovers and fighters, violent delights bring violent ends as enemy families entangle young love with parental expectations, desire, and a drive for independence. Although the fate of the star-crossed lovers is known from the start, audiences will relish in the romantic poetry under the stars and the foreboding reminder that nothing good can spring from hate.

Thanks to support from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, join us in Pinedale for a special performance of excerpts from Romeo & Juliet on June 29.

Special thanks to Producing Partner, Center for the Arts, for their support and collaboration.

Check out the ‘Show Schedule’ tab for dates of ASL interpretation, events, and more. For additional accommodation information and requests, email sadie@offsquare.org.
