Donate Short-Term Artist Housing

Support artistic excellence at Off Square Theatre by donating short-term housing. Off Square Theatre utilizes donated housing throughout the year to support its guest artist program. This can be a primary residence, guest house, studio, or lock-off apartment/suite. We can work directly with you or your property manager to arrange for any needed services prior, during or following the guest artist residency. Residencies can last from 10 days to 5 weeks and are managed through Off Square Theatre’s Company Manager. If you are away for part of the year, have an unused guest house, or would simply enjoy welcoming an artist into your home, please let us know. Email info@offsquare.org to begin the process.

Off Square Theatre accepts gifts made via donor-advised funds (DAFs). Please contact the organization holding your DAF for more information on making charitable contributions to Off Square Theatre or if you have any questions about the tax deductibility of your gift. Donating to Off Square Theatre directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is an easy and efficient way to make a big impact for the mission-driven programs and productions that you love. If you’re 70½ or older, consider a tax-smart donation directly from your IRA. If you are age 72 or older, this charitable transfer may also satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Consult your financial advisor to see if this option aligns with your giving plan.

You may make a charitable rollover gift by instructing your plan administrator to directly transfer a gift to Off Square Theatre.  Because your gift may be received without any name or contact info associated with it, please let us know you have made a gift by e-mailing info@offsquare.org
