2024 SUMMER CAMPS

GRADES 5+

WYOMING SHAKESPEARE CONSERVATORY

Half-day July 15-19, 10am-2:30pm (final performance Friday evening)

Join professional actors from Thin Air Shakespeare and spend a half day immersed in all the things you would expect from a Shakespeare performance (including safe stage combat, character development, and performing text in verse). The week ends on Friday night when the kids perform a short piece from Shakespeare’s works outside on the stage for the public before Thin Air Shakespeare’s professional performance of Romeo & Juliet.

STORY TO STAGE

July 22-26, 9am-3pm

The youngest kids get all the fun of writing their own story and seeing it come to life through the play/work they do throughout the week. They are in charge! Everything from costumes to set pieces, story, script, and acting, they will be ready to perform for family and friends on Friday afternoon.

ARTS SAMPLER I: MUSIC, DANCE, THEATRE, & VISUAL ARTS CAMP

July 29-August 2, 9am-3pm

Sampler Camp offers kids the time of their lives through a taste of each discipline – music, dance, theatre and visual arts. Campers will be split into K-2 and 3-5 groups and will spend part of each day rotating through Off Square Theatre Camp, Dancers’ Workshop Camp, Teton Music School Camp, and the Art Association Camp with a focus on exploring the various forms of art.

ARTS SAMPLER II: MUSIC, DANCE, THEATRE, & VISUAL ARTS CAMP

August 5-9, 9am-3pm

Sampler Camp offers kids the time of their lives through a taste of each discipline – music, dance, theatre and visual arts. GRADES 6+

BROADWAY BOUND: TWO-WEEK MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE

August 5-16 Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

There’s no business like show business – and there’s nowhere better to hone your musical theatre skills than at our two-week intensive. Dust off your jazz hands and belting skills and join us. Students will spend two weeks immersed in learning scenes, songs, and dances from iconic musicals, all leading up to our final showcase performance on Friday afternoon. Come excited to work hard and have a lot of fun – we’ve got magic to do!

RISING STARS I: MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE

August 19-23, 9am-3pm

Our younger ‘Rising Stars’ will spend a week immersed in all things Musical Theatre. As they work toward a final showcase on Friday afternoon, the students will learn the basics of song, dance, and acting. This camp is guaranteed to leave your student more confident in their performance skills and hungry for more.

August 26-30, 9am-3pm

Our younger ‘Rising Stars’ will spend a week immersed in all things Musical Theatre. This camp is guaranteed to leave your student more confident in their performance skills and hungry for more.

POLICIES

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Your student’s space is not confirmed until OSTC has received payment. Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of the beginning of the event or during the event’s duration will not receive a refund. Class reservations are transferable subject to OSTC’s approval.

Unpaid Fees

Students with fees that are past due (+15 days) and have not established a payment plan will be placed in bad standing until their financial obligation has been resolved.  A student in bad standing will not have a spot held in the program and will not be allowed to participate in classes, rehearsals, or performances.  We ask families to communicate directly with us promptly to work out any financial issues. We do not want to be put in a position to not allow a student to attend class/rehearsal or perform.

Photo Release

All students and class participants authorize Off Square Theatre Company to publish names and/or any photographs taken of the participant for use in printed publications, website, or other marketing venues. Participants will not receive financial compensation for use of such photographs. Participants release Off Square Theatre Company from any claims by themselves or any third party in connection with their participation.
