Saturday, August 23 | 10am | The Center Commons

Join Off Square Theatre’s theatrical discussion group on Saturday, August 23 for a rousing discussion of John Proctor is the Villain by Kimberly Belflower & The Crucible by Arthur Miller.

John Proctor is the Villain, first performed in 2022, is a revisionist take on the American classic play The Crucible by Arthur Miller, centering on a group of modern-day high school students and their interpretation of the historical events the play is based on.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller tells the story of the Salem witch trials, where Abigail Williams manipulates the town’s fear of witchcraft to seek revenge after her affair ends.

Join us in the Center Commons on August 23 for an avid discussion, as we dissect both plays and their relevance to today’s world. We hope to see you there!
