Off Square Theatre is pleased to open submissions for part-time, seasonal stage management positions for our upcoming productions of The Little Mermaid and Something Rotten!.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

  • WHERE: Off Square Theatre Office at the Center for the Arts (265 S Glenwood St, Jackson WY 83001). 
  • You may submit for one or both shows.

KEY INFORMATION:

  • All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Center for the Arts in Jackson, WY (265 S Glenwood St, Jackson WY 83001)
  • We are looking for organized, detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about theatre and theatre arts education. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and possesses strong problem solving skills.

The Little Mermaid – Rehearsal Stage Manager

  • First Rehearsal: January 6, 2026
  • Rehearsals: January 6 – February 19, 2026
  • Monday-Friday (4pm – 8pm) / Additional times to be scheduled beginning February 9
  • Performances: February 19–21 in the Center Theater
  • The Little Mermaid is OST’s Annual Youth Musical performance featuring ~55 students on-stage and behind-the-scenes. The Rehearsal Stage Manager will assist with blocking notes, rehearsal planning and in-room management, scheduling, and liaising with the production team. The Rehearsal Stage Manager will work backstage during the performances.
  • $500/week with additional compensation during final two weeks based on availability and scheduling.

Something Rotten! – AEA Stage Manager & Assistant Stage Manager 

  • Rehearsals: June 15-July 9, 2026
  • Stage Manager start date is June 8 // Assistant Stage Manager start date is June 13.
  • Rehearsal days/times TBD
  • Performances: July 10-12 and July 16-19 in the Center Amphitheater
  • Something Rotten! is OST’s Thin Air Shakespeare production performed outdoors in July. This is a professional Actors’ Equity production.
  • Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers will be hired on an AEA Independent Theater Contract. Current weekly salary rates are SM $647 // ASM $572
