Interested in working alongside a professional director, designers, and actors this summer? Apply now to intern with the crew of Thin Air Shakespeare’s Richard III. Applications are due April 24.
This program is free. A stipend may be provided for some positions.
WHO: This program is open to students (in grade 8+ in fall of 2023), college students, and young professionals.
WHAT: There are so many jobs that need doing to put on a professional Shakespeare play! Depending on your areas of expertise and interest, you may be assigned to attend rehearsals with stage management, build sets with the scenic designer, sew costumes with the costume designer, and maybe even work backstage or front of house during the run of Richard III.
WHEN: Rehearsals begin June 12. Performances are July 7-9 and 13-16. You do not necessarily need to be available for the entire rehearsal and/or performance period to apply for an internship. You will note your availability when you apply and crew assignments will be distributed accordingly.
